So I heard about Indie Animation Day making the rounds on Bluesky, so I will take this moment to make a (somewhat belated, but shhh) announcement thing.

For a few months now, I've been planning an animated series for Newgrounds, Youtube, and a few other places called Ivy's Story. Ivy's Story is about the titular Ivy, an enslaved cat boy who escapes from his master and goes on a quest to break the bondage spell that was placed on him. On this journey for emancipation, he would travel to far off lands, make new allies, and try to avoid his master at all costs, lest he be captured and enslaved once more. The release date is still TBA, but I aim to release the first episode sometime in 2025.

I'll be making a few announcements detailing my progress with this series, and if I get enough attention and interest on this project, I can make a Patreon so others can support the show. Just like a real indie animator!

Now that I got this announcement out, I'm gonna go now. I have a comic to finish!

Remember a couple weeks ago when I said I was planning a name change? Well, it is my pleasure to say that it has now happened!

Let me reintroduce myself. My name is Kay Mementomori Raven, and despite the name, I'm actually a crow of many shapes and forms! I also go by Featherwaite or Fealy, though I'd mostly go by Kay.

I'm also in the process of moving my carrd website (which is now at featherwaite.carrd.co) to Neocities, which is taking a while because, well, HTML and CSS is hard! I also haven't changed all of my accounts yet (I need to make a new Mastodon because of Federation rules :'3), but for the moment, all my current social medias are now under the name Featherwaite.

Before I leave, I also wanted to say sorry for the long silence. I've been busy with my part-time job and my incoming graduation, so I didn't have much time to actually work on my projects and stuff! But don't worry, I have several cooking up for the next few months and into the new year. I'm also trying to finish off the prologue of Zombies and Marshmallows before the year ends; it's been long overdue! I switched to Krita and a new art style for the next page and possibly future pages, so you'd notice some changes.

Recently, I've been thinking of changing my screen name here and almost every place I'm logged in to. Yabloko doesn't fit me anymore, and I need a change. When this will happen, I have no idea. When the changes fall into place, I'll let y'all know.

As of right now, Art Fight 2024 is over!

Man, time went by too fast. I have some attacks I'm going to submit here soon, since the last time I've done that was weeks ago. Sorry for the delay!

Part of me wishes that I was able to do more. I had a goal to empty one page of of bookmarked characters, and while I did get a few in, I ended up bookmarking more because I could help but save some really cool-looking characters for myself! I don't know if I'll try to make that goal next year, but I'll try. I love doing this event, and would be happy to do it again.

So anyways, enough rambling. I'm going to take a little break to prepare myself for school, and I'll be back to do stuff later. Who knows, I might share a little sneak peak or two....

Some time ago, right around the debut of the Pride Collab, I have reached over 100 fans! I would like to take the time to thank all of y'all for making this happen.

Hey there! Sorry for being my usual quiet self recently and not posting anything art-related or anything at all. Lately, I've been really uninterested in making anything, instead spending my free time binge-watching cartoons and frequenting TV Tropes. I only drew a few times in my sketchbook during quiet moments at work, and even then it was kinda rare. I've been slowly coming back to drawing stuff and concentrating on actually finishing my damn projects for once.

In the meantime, I also want to announce that Art Fight is around the corner again, and as per usual, I'm joining! It's Seafoam vs. Stardust this year, and I'll be on Team Seafoam!

Happy Pico Day everyone!

I had something planned today, but I got called in today to fill in for someone at work, so I'm really exhausted right now. I think my creation would be a little late, maybe by a day or two. I still want to finish it because I want to use it as my new desktop wallpaper, that'll be awesome.

Anyways, gotta take it easy and stuff. Don't want to push myself too hard; mostly because it's like 30 mins til' midnight and I can't draw that fast anyways.
